Dr. Wilbur has been a scientist, teacher, and writer since 1997. Her specialization and main areas of interest are evolution and human diseases. She holds undergraduate degrees in anthropology and biology from Indiana University, and a PhD. in Biological Anthropology from The University of New Mexico. She received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship to attend graduate school,as well as dissertation funding from the National Science Foundation and the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
She was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Arizona State University, and a Research Scientist at the University of Washington. Dr. Wilbur has taught courses on human evolution, human skeletal anatomy, human biological variation, and the co-evolution of humans and infectious diseases at The University of New Mexico, Arizona State University, and University of Washington. She has lectured on subjects including the evolution of tuberculosis and leprosy throughout the United States, and in Canada, Paraguay, and Taiwan.
Bingson Huang Senior Analyst
Mr. Huang specializes in North American policy and industry research. He brings over seven years of capital markets research experience to the team. Notable highlights include publishing fundamental equity research for TD Bank Financial Group and developing quantitative scoring models that would lay the groundwork for First Trust Morningstar US equity market ETFs launched in 2013. Mr. Huang was awarded his Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting from Queen’s University and a Masters in Finance with a dual concentration in quantitative and corporate finance from London Business School.
Laura Seo Associate Analyst
Ms. Seo is an analyst and contributing writer to Signal Bay Research. Prior to joining Signal Bay, Ms. Seo worked as a Research and Development Intern at Appable, Inc, a mobile application development and consulting firm. She previously worked as a Legal Assistant at Fuller Jenkins Clarkson, as a Solutions Specialist at Best Buy, and she worked as Production Manager for a startup website that created specialized educational curriculum for children. Ms. Seo is currently a senior at Harvard University, where she expects to complete her B.L. in English Literature in 2015.
